Futures and Frosting by Tara Sivec

Futures and Frosting (Chocolate Lovers #2)
By Tara Sivec
Published: September 13, 2012
Genre: Contemporary Romance, Humor

Carter, Claire and Gavin have formed the perfect little family. Their friends are getting married and everyone is growing up, maturing and ready to face the future. Or are they?

From bachelorette party hell, porn addictions, dinner roll baseball and botched wedding proposals to finding out everyone's extended family is chock full of crazy, Carter and Claire begin to question the strength of the ties that bind them. Unfortunately, these ties have nothing to do with fuzzy handcuffs and everything to do with the mounting differences between them.

Will their friends make a mess of things with their inappropriate comments and need to know everything, or will they convince the couple that happily-ever-after sometimes really can start with beer pong

J&M's Book Diaries rating

J&M's review:
Another great one by Tara Sivec. The Chocolate Lovers series is definitely a must read, if you have a great sense of humor and get dry humor, love romance with a happy ending, then you will absolutely love this series. Just like the first book, these books never fail to make you laugh out loud! Claire says it like it is, making you think to yourself 'Thank god I'm not the only one who does or wonders about that'. It's also great because we felt some relation to the book. We both been married for decades and couldn't help point out that 'Yeah, our husband does this too'. Carter Ellis is still as sweet as ever! We felt so bad for him throughout this book while he was trying to propose and every time it got botched! But the way he ended up doing it made it all worth it. Totally swoon-worthy! Gavin their son was also as crazy as ever. He made us laugh even when we felt like it was inappropriate we couldn't help ourselves. That little monster of a kid that he is, we enjoyed every moment.

We feel like we could read a million of Sivec's books and never get bored. This book was just as hilarious, I've probably burned so much calories LMAO. We enjoyed all the witty banter between the friends, Claire, Carter and the brilliant 4 year old Gavin. We loved every minute of this book!
